This Movie, That TV Show, And Detaching From Real Life

In this article, instead of trying to demonstrate the features of any particular label, I'd like to discuss two psychological traits that show up in a number of apparently distinct diagnostic entities, and I'll use the main character from that classic film, Citizen Kane, to demonstrate them. The first of these features -- a lack of empathy -- is a diagnostic criterion of both narcissistic personality disorder and various autism spectrum disorders. The second, narcissistic rage, features in both borderline and narcissistic personality disorders.

ABC Sitcom Work It Gets Laid Off After Two Episodes

Well, that didn't last long.
After just two terrible episodes (according to the critics and just about everybody watching), ABC's Work It has been cancelled.
The show, which featured two men dressing up as women so they could find work, premiered to dismal ratings and immediately sparked LGBT advocacy organizations to campaign against it.

Awesome!

From what we've seen, it looks like Jack The Giant Killer is going to be a cool movie, that's for sure. So it makes us happy that the writer of that flick has just been tapped to write the adaptation of a Goosebumps movie!

We were JUST talking about how there needs to be a Goosebumps movie!

Darren Lemke is his name, and he has quite the task ahead of him if they like his work... because Columbia picked up the rights to FIFTY of RL Stine's Goosebumps books in 2008!

Color us excited to finally see what they're going to do with one of these, and which book they choose first! Such classics!

Rent Audio Books: 3 Core Benefits

There are two main sources of photographs licensed for business use: stock photos and hired photographers. Stock photos are generic photos of people, places and things licensed for commercial use and available to anyone who wants to use them. Hired photographers shoot unique photos that personalize a client's brand, business and projects.

Christmas Wallpaper Can Make Every Day A Holiday

How would you like to use a plain old ceramic kiln with no controller to make the most beautiful pieces of cast glass? Well that is what a pot pour is. Also referred to as an aperture pour, the idea is to put scrap glass into a clay flower pot and take your kiln up to 1700F, at which time the now molten glass will drizzle out the holes in the bottom of the flower pot, hopefully creating intricate designs.

The Truth About The Baby Grand Piano

Music is timeless, ageless; it even transcends culture and language. Today, like any other time in history, is alive with vibrant, energetic music, much of which will stand the test of time. This article discusses what's out there today in modern American music, what's HOT and why. It's surprising to me how some music can meet different age levels, how many similarities there are between Broadway music, classical, pop, heavy metal, even hip-hop and salsa. There are many different things that go into making bands and various performers stars, but it all boils down to the music, the talent and the persona of the performers themselves.

¡Feliz Día De Los Muertos, y’all! As some of you may recall, a couple of weeks ago David and I attended the Día De Los Muertos celebration at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery here in LA but today is the actual Day of the Dead. Each year, folks hold a traditional Día De Los Muertos celebration on Olvera Street in downtown LA (the oldest street in Los Angeles) and each year, I try to attend the celebration. Last night, David and I made our way out to Olvera St. to enjoy the parade, the prayers & blessings, the face painting and the camaraderie that comes with Day of the Dead. Last night was my third Day of the Dead fest on Olvera street and it was truly one of the best.

I am always in awe of this traditional celebration. I love that so many children are allowed to participate … it’s such a beautiful celebration. David and I always have a great time on Olvera St. and last night was no exception. It’s really something to see so many people come together for this ancient traditional celebration. I’m thinking that we may have to celebrate Día De Los Muertos next year in Mexico ;) Now that would be amazingly cool.

Tonight, Darion and I are getting together for a LONG overdue dinner hang out and then later on, I’m seeing Filter live in concert at The Viper Room. I hope your Hump Day is a good one. Happy Wednesday ;D

If Heidi Klum is the queen of celebrity Hallowe’en costumes then the Hannigan-Denisof family has to be the ruling family of celebrity Hallowe’en costumes.
