ABC Sitcom Work It Gets Laid Off After Two Episodes
Well, that didn't last long.
After just two terrible episodes (according to the critics and just about everybody watching), ABC's Work It has been cancelled.
The show, which featured two men dressing up as women so they could find work, premiered to dismal ratings and immediately sparked LGBT advocacy organizations to campaign against it.

Awesome!
From what we've seen, it looks like Jack The Giant Killer is going to be a cool movie, that's for sure. So it makes us happy that the writer of that flick has just been tapped to write the adaptation of a Goosebumps movie!
We were JUST talking about how there needs to be a Goosebumps movie!
Darren Lemke is his name, and he has quite the task ahead of him if they like his work... because Columbia picked up the rights to FIFTY of RL Stine's Goosebumps books in 2008!
Color us excited to finally see what they're going to do with one of these, and which book they choose first! Such classics!
Which do U want to see first??

¡Feliz Día De Los Muertos, y’all! As some of you may recall, a couple of weeks ago David and I attended the Día De Los Muertos celebration at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery here in LA but today is the actual Day of the Dead. Each year, folks hold a traditional Día De Los Muertos celebration on Olvera Street in downtown LA (the oldest street in Los Angeles) and each year, I try to attend the celebration. Last night, David and I made our way out to Olvera St. to enjoy the parade, the prayers & blessings, the face painting and the camaraderie that comes with Day of the Dead. Last night was my third Day of the Dead fest on Olvera street and it was truly one of the best.
I am always in awe of this traditional celebration. I love that so many children are allowed to participate … it’s such a beautiful celebration. David and I always have a great time on Olvera St. and last night was no exception. It’s really something to see so many people come together for this ancient traditional celebration. I’m thinking that we may have to celebrate Día De Los Muertos next year in Mexico ;) Now that would be amazingly cool.
Tonight, Darion and I are getting together for a LONG overdue dinner hang out and then later on, I’m seeing Filter live in concert at The Viper Room. I hope your Hump Day is a good one. Happy Wednesday ;D

Matt Reeves, most well-known for Cloverfield and more recently, his US remake of Let The Right One In, has been reportedly tapped by Warner Brothers to helm Jason Rothenberg's adaptation of The Twilight Zone TV series, which is also being produced by Leonardo DiCaprio!
Apparently, the position was seriously in demand by a variety of different, well known directors, and the final contract negotiations will be underway during the next week or so!
Unlike the last film based on the Rod Sterling classic, which was an anthology, the new project will be more of a science fiction action flick, with a single story linked to the original in tone and aesthetic!
Well, Reeves has certainly proven he can more than handle action, horror, monsters, AND a college-aged Keri Russell unable to decide between two different, if not equally attractive suitors, so we're curious to see what he brings to this one!
What do U think?? Are U looking forward to a new Twilight Zone flick??

Watch: Justin Bieber Releases A Behind The Scenes Video From The Set Of His New Music Video
About a week ago, Ryan Adams announced that he would be playing a tiny show at the Masonic Lodge inside the Hollywood Forever Cemetery … and last night, David and I got to attend the show. Without question, last night’s performance was THE best Ryan Adams show I have ever seen … and I’ve been to quite a few shows. Not only was the special venue a treat but we got to enjoy just Ryan, his guitar and piano … and that’s it. It was an AMAZING show.
Every time David and I see Ryan Adams live, we hope that he will play our song Firecracker. You’re not going to believe this but about 5 songs into his set, he performed Firecracker in full … it was a very special moment for David and me. The set was chock full of great new stuff, including the title track off his new album (in stores today) Ashes & Fire, but also some of his biggest hits … from a pared down New York, New York to Two and more. In between songs, Ryan joked about his hair, King Diamond and the 80s TV series Moonlighting … he was in rare, brilliant form. As luck would have it, we are seeing Ryan in concert again this Friday night in San Francisco, CA but I’m telling you right now … I doubt I’ll ever see a better show from him.
And speaking of shows … tonight, David and I are going to the Hollywood Bowl to see Journey, Foreigner and Night Ranger LIVE in concert. I am SOOOOO excited! It shall be a blast, you better believe that :) Happy Tuesday!!

Need A Job? Scream 5 Needs A Writer!
With everything that Kevin Williamson is up to these days, we're not surprised at all that they'd need a new writer!
Last we heard about Scream 5, Wes Craven announced that he'd be taking the summer off, BUT he had previously assured us that the movie would definitely be happening…eventually.
During a recent interview, Wes opened up [...]
Designed to awaken members' super powers, the Church of Scientology is putting their finishing touches on the The Super Power Building.
This will be the place to go if you want to enhance any of your 57 perceptics (powers that scientologists claim to possess).
A spokesman for the Church states:
[Super Power training is] a series of spiritual counseling processes designed to give a person back his own viewpoint, increase his perception, exercise his power of choice, and greatly enhance other spiritual abilities.
Created within the mind of founder L. Ron Hubbard himself, he claimed this energy mecca would:
...put scientologists into a new realm of ability enabling them to create the new world. It puts the world clearing within reach in the future.
Yeah, whatever that means...
The Super Power Building has cost $90 million to make. The futuristic castle of gyms boasts 889 rooms, NASA-esque training equipment, 42 bathrooms, a dining room that seats 1,140, and an outdoor terrace that would put even the Titanic to shame.
So we guess we'll be seeing Tom Cruise in the sky soon enough, huh? HA!
OH! Bee tee dub! This thing is in Florida!
WTF!?! How much will the Hollywood followers have to fly back and forth til they become superheroes???

Josh Schwartz is one busy man! While the upper east siders are busy bashing Lonely Boy, their creator has been working on a new series to storm the states.
Born in the UK, Misfits is about of group of kids doing community service in London when all of a sudden an electrical storm hits them. They survive, but with....dum dum dummmm....super powers! KA-PLOW!
And even though the US remake of Skins didn't do so well, tv minds are thinking Misfits has a way better chance.
Yeah, we'll give it a shot. We love science fiction!
